Trinidad Set For Divali Nagar
PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD, September 23, 2006: "The Hindu Thought Contribution to World Thought and Culture" is the theme for the twentieth edition of the annual Divali Nagar, set for October 12 - 20, 2006. Richard Ramlakhansingh, manager, said in an interview that "Divali Nagar is the gravitational centre in Trinidad for the annual celebration of Divali Festival of Lights. It is also the venue for other socio-cultural activities during the year. This year, as always, the big stage at Divali Nagar will be the focal point for the presentation of artistes of repute," Ramlakhansingh said. As a prelude to Divali Nagar, there will be a five-night Bhakti Gyan Yagna beginning Tuesday, October 3 to Saturday October 7.
